Brush Fire - Lena Cove

On May 4, 2002 Capital City Fire/Rescue received a report of a small brush fire at the Lena Cove Recreational Area.  Engine 41, Engine 31, Utility 41, and Medic 2 responded with a handful of volunteer personnel.  Firefighters found a small area, approximately 10 x 10 that had burned and was smoldering.  Firefighters wet down the area and put out the barbecue pit that was suspected to have started it.
