On the weekend of April 26th,  Capital City Fire/Rescue held a hydraulics course.  Participants of the class experienced both classroom and hands-on training.

On April 25, 2002  Capital City Fire/Rescue's Auke Bay/Lynn Canal and Glacier Districts participated in their monthly fire drill at the Hagevig Regional Fire Training Center.  The topic was Fire Control.

On June 1, 2001, Capital City Fire/Rescue held a vehicle extrication demonstration for the students of Juneau-Douglas High School.   Members and equipment from all five districts participated.
