Federal Building

On October 22, 2000,  Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to a report of smoke on the 9th floor of the Federal Building.  Engine 11, Engine 13, Engine 23, Truck 12, Medic 3, Rescue 1 and Fire 3 responded with volunteers from throughout the city.  After investigation of the building, it was determined that there was no fire.  Firefighters remained on scene for over four hours during this incident.

Ninth Street was completely blocked off due to CCFR apparatus and personnel.
An attack is exiting the building after being relieved by another team of firefighters.
