The Auke Bay Fire Station is a
volunteer response station. It is staffed by volunteer firefighter/ems squad
members. There is one engine, a water tender, a utility/quick response truck, and a water
rescue craft housed at this station. This district responds to all calls from the
Mendenhall River out to Echo Cove, in addition to performing mutual aid to the Glacier
Fire District.
