The Glacier EMS Squad is comprised of eight specially trained firefighters who have willingly undergone extensive training to expand the type and amount of response to the citizens of Juneau.  All certified Emergency Trauma Technicians (ETT) and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) are also certified defibrillator technicians.
